Mallu Magalhães
Born with a princess name, Maria Luiza de Arruda Botelho Pereira de Magalhães, or Mallu Magalhães, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist.
She is only 25 years old but has already released four albums and one DVD, plus giving birth to a beautiful baby.
At the age of 15, she saved money and recorded four of her songs, making them available through Myspace’s streaming service.
She performed in several alternative music festivals and her career took off. She got married to excellent musician Marcelo Camelo, singer, composer, and former member of the band Los Hermanos. They are currently based in Portugal, producing plenty of quality music with Banda Do Mar.
Her latest effort is the solo album Vem, a delight that combines bossa nova, pop, and folk.
