Kansas Chocolate Festival Partners with FCIA to Spotlight Fine Chocolate Exhibitors and Elevate Festival Educational fferings September 29, 2018
The Kansas Chocolate Festival is committed to raise awareness of fine chocolate among its 25,000 attendees on September 29, 2018 in Topeka, Kansas. This is a great opportunity for FCIA members and friends to reach a new audience! Please consider exhibiting. The vendor fee is only $50.
FCIA to Provide Educational Consultation
FCIA is proud to announce an agreement between the Kansas Chocolate Festival and FCIA to provide an elevated educational program for festival attendees to learn about fine chocolate.
- FCIA Senior Advisor Karen Bryant will be there to talk about some of the key points from our consumer research. She will also conduct blind tastings between fine and mass market chocolate to illustrate the difference.
- FCIA Member Bill Copeland, Glacier Chocolate, will present an overview of the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Initiative (HCP) and its effort to save fine flavor cacao.
- Additional workshop presenters are in the works.
