Help the Coffee Makers Project give the refugees living in São Paulo an opportunity

The Coffee Farmers Project, created in 2004 and maintained by Sofá Café, www.sofacafe.com.br read the article on sofá café,  train young people, in a situation of social risk, in the profession of baristas. Students receive daily classes for a period of two months and spend another month as interns in different coffee shops in São Paulo.

During this time, they receive transportation vouchers, uniforms and food, and have already graduated five groups, with a 90% employability rate. For the sixth class – Refugees – the project intends to raise the amount of R$ 30K, through online contribution at www.vakinha.com.br, http://vaka.me/q2h15x. The course will be offered to refugees from various nationalities who are living at risk, in the city.

The opportunity to contribute with such a great project goes until 10/10/2018. So far, they have collected only R$ 2,925. There is a long way to go! Let’s join!
