Around thousand people participated in lectures and courses


The 1st Week of Special Coffee in Cristina, held in May, from 6 thru 11, gathered the whole production chain of the region and counted on the attendance of around one thousand people. According to Cristina’s Tourism Secretary Rafael Rezek, the event was an initiative that arose within the Tourism Council. “The idea of the event arose from the need to provide more divulgation and awareness, both for producers and those who appreciate the region’s special coffees, about Cristina as special coffees’ producer center”.

The 1st Week of Special Coffees in Cristina counted on many lectures turned to producers, as well as the improvement of training of baristas, classifiers, roasters, and special coffee tasting professionals. The schedule also included visits to several farms of the region.
