It has been the fifth consecutive year the company is awarded by the Academy
Candy Truffle du Jour Croquant, created by Chocolat du Jour, a brand from Sao Paulo, www.chocolatdujour.com.br, won the bronze medal in the Nut Based category at London’s 2019 Academy of Chocolate. Held annually, this is one of the most important international contests open to fine chocolate makers from all over the world.
Truffle du Jour Croquant, stuffed with ganache noir, is made of milk chocolate and almonds. The noir truffles were the brand’s first creations, back in 1987, and throughout the years many other flavors have been launched, including a “caipirinha” stuffed version, which has also been awarded in that same competition. Other available flavors are: Champagne, Au Lait, Cappuccino, Passion Fruit, and the henceforth-awarded Croquant.
The result of the awards granted to other categories should only be announced in June. For further information, please visit www.academyofchocolate.org.uk
