This event will define the best taster of Brazilian specialty coffees that will represent the country in the world championship
The Brazilian Cup Tasters Championship, which evaluates the knowledge of special coffee tasters, takes place this weekend, August 10 and 11, at the O’Coffee farm in Pedregulho, São Paulo.
The winner will be the Brazilian representative at the World Cup Tasters Championship, which will be held in Belo Horizonte in November, within the International Coffee Week (SIC) schedule.
This is the 10th edition and 24 tasters are enrolled, who will go through eight triangular tests and will need to distinguish, in each group of three cups, the one that has a different coffee, in the shortest possible time.
Since 2016, BSCA represents World Coffee Events (WCE), which organizes the World Barista Championship (WBC) and holds the rights of competition worldwide.
