Inspired by the Lanesborough High Tea, a London-based hotel of the Oetker network (www.oetkercollection.com), the service is led by the pastry chef Fernando Telles
Want to go out for a more sophisticated outing? Come enjoy the tea service of Hotel Palácio Tangará, here in São Paulo. The city’s newest luxury hotel, opened May last year, is situated in an area surrounded by the Atlantic forest, next to Burle Marx Park, in Panamby.
Tea is served daily from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the inner lounges next to the piano or outside patio, overlooking the woods.
The service is headed by the pastry chef Fernando Telles, and you can choose from mini-sandwiches and fresh scones, besides mouthwatering mini-desserts.
If you are looking for an even more sophisticated atmosphere, try the most expensive option on the menu (R$143.00 per person), which entitles you to a glass of Cave Geisse Nature or Moet Chandon with strawberries and vanilla cream.
And because everything can get even better, just wait until you see the list of available teas, all from Damman Frères (read the article about the brand on the Grão Special website, on the link Damman Frères: The French have turned a tea brand into the epitome of luxury).
The experience is worth every penny! Please note: On Saturdays, the options are served in a buffet format.
