Santo Antonio do Amparo will provide farm tours
On July 14, 15 and 16 a Tour will be held passing through the specialty and organic coffees farms of Cachoeira, Santa Maria and Paradiso, in Santo Antônio do Amparo, Minas Gerais.
In the middle of the harvest season, this event aims to show the public a little more about the work done by the region’s coffee growers. The tour has a schedule full of activities as well as activities regarding the coffee preparation.
Schedule
14/07/2017
- 15:00: Arrival to Fazenda Cachoeira, with an afternoon break;
- 16:00: Selection of coffee and preparation process in several methods of extraction by Rogério Daros, coffee roaster and Specialist in Specialty Coffees, with the participation of local baristas;
- 19:30: Dinner;
- 20:30: Music concert with local musicians, voice and guitar.

- 08:30 to 11:30: Visit to Fazenda Paradiso, with the reception and presentation of the farm, visit to the crop following by a mechanized harvest, measurement of sugar content and coffee maturity in a crop, and other beneficiation activities;
- 14:00 to 17:00: Visit to Fazenda Santa Maria, with the reception and presentation of the farm, visit to the beneficiation, storage and roasting areas, workshops on types of coffee, classification and test.
- 17:00: Break at the end of the tour;
- 18:00: Return to Fazenda Cachoeira;
- 19:30: Dinner;
- 20:30: Accordion and Guitar players music concert;

- 8:30: Visit to the Fazenda Cachoeira crops, plant nursery, drying patios, milling and test rooms;
- 12:00: Lunch
