The unit has emerged by meeting all safety requirements.

The franchise chain Sterna Café (sternacafe.com.br) opened, on April 2, another unit. Due to safety measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, the store can only be opened because it is inside a supermarket, which is considered an essential service.

The store, located inside Extra Brigadeiro, at Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, 2013, was inaugurated with all the safety requirements suggested by health agencies, such as glasses separating customers from the cashier, marking on the floor to keep the distance, alcohol gel available, among others.

According to Deiverson Migliatti, founder of the brand, this was a crucial decision to keep the jobs that had been hired before the quarantine. The businessman also insisted on being present in all the adjustments that had to be made, so that the store could start operating as quickly as possible. “Opening this unit in the midst of the pandemic was important for the weakened and it kept his economic planning going on. I was with him also helping in the adaptations so that it could open it, guaranteeing the safety of his employees, like that of the customers. It is at times like this that we need to join forces more than ever. It is helping each other and I hope it will serve as a learning experience for all of us,” says Migliatti.

Due to the restrictions of the health department, the store works with the buy and take system, or the TO GO operation, where the customer orders and only passes to pick up.
